SERIOUS DUDE, WELL MEANING, strategic. He's never talked to someone this low-key in his life before. He seems well-spoken and politically minded though, and he's a little impressed by his pulling a plan together though he thinks some of that was because of the group that's here— but that also compounds to a cautiously favorable impression of Reim because Reim knew these people before hand. And! They have a good impression of him! God only knows that most people in the DreamSMP develop beef with each other real quick.

This makes him more inclined to be cautious a bit as well, particularly since Reim noticed that Wilbur's alliance was written with cementing power more over acting against the Warden even if the reason he wants power is to act against her. But yeah, he's like mmmm that's someone to keep an eye on. Probably better to have on my side than against me.

Also, it's fun to get his name wrong. Rems. It's just fun to say Rems.

I actually love the use of repetition in Wilbur's speech pattern. He talks like someone who backspaces and changes their mind on what to say, except he is speaking verbally so there's just a bunch of half formed sentences hanging out. He is just a man who expects to have a keyboard but only has a mouth.

That aside, I enjoy getting to call everyone GAMERS and KINGS. And getting to say shit that is just like. Saying the warden has oppressed us for decades. That kind of thing is a lot of fun.

Do you have thoughts on Yatagarasu as a team! You swapped back onto them, so I wondered if you had anything you were like YEAAH I LIKE THIS ABOUT THIS TEAM I wanna go back to them! Or was it just because you knew they had a slot?

I FEEL THAT... and it reads really naturally, as weird as that may sound. but maybe it's just because i talk like that a lot.

does wilbur dream. what does he dream about.

It probably depends.

I think while in limbo, his dreams were 100% just being a silent screaming immobile passenger in Ghostbur's head, in which he could do nothing and could not hear what was happening but could see all of it. Because he's made comments to the effect of that happening, but since he was sitting in limbo... I imagine he had to have seen them via dreams.

I think he's also the type to dream about things the way they used to be. Like dreams of when he was a kid in Philza's world with just him and Techno and he knows stuff that he knows as an adult and can maybe fly even though he didn't inherit Philza's wings but it's set back on his childhood world. Like when you have dreams about being in school even though you've long since graduated. I think since he spent like, just a decade in a train station he's spent a lot of time stuck in his head and stuck in the past.

Those kinds of dreams leave him waking up dissatisfied or more motivated, I think, depending entirely on the day and not on the dream. Sometimes he's cranky and more inclined to bitch at technoblade and sometimes he's like NOW I NEED TO WRITE UP 60 LISTS TODAY I AM ON THE BALL.

He will not admit to having nightmares and probably yeets them out of his brain LOL BYEEEE. he dreams about seeing Tommy die sometimes definitely.

He loves Jinx Adrien Technoblade Kaworu. He is already attached.

He also likes the new teammate, lotor, though icly he doesn't know his name yet.

He's adopted himself a new younger brother. He enjoys their conversions and it's nice talking to someone into music. Wilbur thinks he has a good read on him, though Kaworu is very different from most the teens he's used to dealing with— much less rowdy. Self-sacrificial and openly so.

So in terms of personality, Wilbur is quite aware that Kaworu isn't his brother or any of the people he's failed. But Wilbur is still bringing that baggage into the friendship-- he feels responsible for Tommy going through so much shit and canonically is like welp time to convince Tommy I only care about power so he skeddadles the fuck out so I can't damage him more also no wait that's my younger brother, Big Q get the fuck away from him, we're all we've got. And responsible for the time Tubbo died via firework rocket launcher to the face and Tubbo had been desperately messaging Wilbur for help and Wilbur was like, trust technoblade he's on our side [Techno executes tubbo on stage in front of an audience]. So! Wilbur has being admired by teenagers baggage. And he couldn't make it up to either of them, but he badly wants to. But maybe he can make it up to Kaworu. Maybe he won't ever have to make it up to Kaworu-- maybe this time it can go fine. He can protect crows and play music with Kaworu andddd protect kaworu from his own self-sacrifice. Or at least ready him to deal with the world but he doesn't want to do that yet and he doesn't feel it's necessary + feeling pretty certain kaworu would overlook his advice due to selflessness.

Basically, a lot of affection, also Wilbur looking at him like oh more opportunity for self-imposed responsibility? Don't mind if I do. [Consumed with anxiety about this]

he's pretty chill right now. he's annoyed that he's in prison again but this "prison" is a lot less uh... restricting than pandora's box was, so he's not pissed yet. this is the prison vacation he wanted man, it's chill it's cool.

he couldn't contribute much in the first 'game' and he mostly was just worried they'd get stabbed in the back but then they weren't so he's pleasantly surprised, but still like. doesn't trust anyone in the prison any farther than he can throw them.

heeee's worried about wilbur which might have been obvious, but he's also not going to like. try to dictate what he can and can't do too much, as wilbur said he's an adult. the most he can do is keep close to him/keep an eye on him, which is why ultimately he's going to "join" wilbur's solidarity thing. like, techno's mostly introverted and hasn't managed to connect much with anyone even on team (mostly due to my perpetual death but also due to techno's detached way of communicating) but he's also very much a "my people are MY PEOPLE" kinda guy and wilbur is the most His People here.

so... y'know. gonna stick by wilbur. just don't turn into a tyrant and we'll be good.

oh he's also happy he gets to make a potato farm. he can do a useful thing without being violent yay

Out of character, I realize that like success would mean uhhh game's over everyone go home. But at the same time, Wilbur's a goal-oriented person who doesn't just sit and vibe very well.

So uh I sat down and was like what would be fun. So, alliance obviously came first because Wilbur's big original sin in the DSMP is setting up a nation and turning it into politics RP. Anyway, it's not gonna go that way in DWRP bc that's not what people are into, but it gives me some chance to play politics and I also love that shit. Hypothetically there's teams but NAH WILBUR GONNA WILBUR WE'RE MAKING A non-nation. The way it's set up is so it's easy to avoid for people who want to, but if people would like to get involved or if someone wants to start beef, it's also fairly easy? Since they have the rule abt we don't care what the hell the rest of you do, but if you do unto ours we're gonna have a problem. So we can play punishments or trials or arguments or protection scheming and all that. It's fun!

But Wilbur also does want to move against the warden, so my second thought was roles. Different people assigned different things to do to forward the cause. This can be arming up people, fight tutorials on the physical fighter side. Information gathering is key as well information distribution— Wilbur was complaining about not having a reporter here to report on his alliances, I was like oh okay. So no one's gonna want to have to write up shit that's annoying, but it is fun to play interview threads and they all have smartphones. So give someone the assignment of interview X or FIND OUT THE POPULACES THOUGHT'S and just be like action tag in advance you're recording this and then when the "reporter" is done they can link the threads that are already established as recorded and it's minimal work.

Anyway. I've written up like ideas for eight different roles.

Once we've got some of that groundwork laid, as characters start having more information they can do some meetings and figuring out the best way forward, but I think right now Wilbur wants to set up infrastructure for creating something solid.

So basically one part idk whatever the fuck comes up and one part here is my meticulously planned structure on how we improv this. Lemme know if you have any other questions abt it too bc I've said this on discord but: while I have a very take-chargey character I'm not looking to OOCly drag people into something they're not interested in and I'm chill with avoiding the topic with people who don't want to thread it.

Kaworu likes Wilbur quite a lot! He appreciates his friendship and concern, both for himself and the entire team. Though he doesn't always understand what Wilbur is saying (what is a gamer...), he likes the enthusiasm that he approaches everything with.

That said, he has a somewhat fraught? Relationship with adults. Adults have basically caused his fate to be predetermined. On top of that, they don't often treat him like a child. They treat him like a problem or some kind of dangerous alien (which not wrong but I do think Kaworu is a child at heart). The only person who really looked after Kaworu and tried to raise him is Kaji and Wilbur reminds him of Kaji which inclines him to accept his affection instead of brushing it off. He has a weird thing where he's almost relieved people can see right through him but also doesn't know how to handle haha.

How do you keep all the info from Wilbur's canon straight? It seems like a lot!

Funfacts my last canon was enstars and I wrote up a 40 page document that was literally just links to stories in orders relevant to various character's plot arcs and paragraph descriptions of each of the 40+ characters.

Uh, so. I guess that's how I do it. I'm really good at memorization, my current job likes dropping hour long scripts on me and being like yeah so can you give this by next tuesday. So far, the answer on my part has always been yes.

That said the hardest part is actually going about finding things, because it's RP streamed from multiple perspectives, usually on twitch, and not everyone crossposts to youtube which means you have a two week window to watch things until they're gone forever or you find someone's ripped repost. There's a few things where I haven't seen all the relevant perspectives and might get jossed at some point, but that's just because you end up missing like, five minutes of a scene somewhere, because the character walked off, muted, monologued to their audience for a bit, and then rejoined the scene and if you haven't seen their perspective you're missing that. This is part of why Wilbur is apped AU, so I can just kind of roll with it if it turns out I was missing a scene somewhere.
